My wife had a good experience at the in-hotel Onsen (gender differentiated). Rooms are clean, and they prepped kids amenities as well.

The staff were friendly.

we booked the room at hoc. When we turned up, reaslised the room was very small, at least smaller than it was described. Any way, two thing really upset. When we checked in, we were asked to pay 200 yuen as local tax, which we thought was included in the amount we paid to Bookings, Furthermore, the staff was not ready to give us the room key until we had to return to the car and paid the money. The money was so small and we were unhappy for their attitude. The next morning, they called at around 10am to remind us to check out. We have never been hasseled to check out so early, especially on a nomal Monday when things are not busy. Anyway, we rushed down and only realise we were 17 minutes after 10am. The staff demanded us to pay a late checck-out fee of 2000 yuen. This is totally outragous. Never ever use this hotel!!!
